Product Development Engineer
Job Description
- Lead the design and development of new products for fluid displacement systems in the food and beverage industry.
- Utilize advanced engineering tools such as CAD, FEA, and CFD to create detailed designs and engineering drawings.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prototype development, and product testing to ensure designs meet stringent industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and product managers, to optimize product designs for production.
- Analyze new materials and technologies to improve current products and develop innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards for industry-specific products.
- Manage project timelines, costs, and technical objectives while coordinating with key stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience in product design, with expertise in pumps or rotary equipment.
- Proficiency in CAD (preferably Inventor/Autodesk Vault) and exposure to FEA, CFD, and heat transfer analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS FLUENT).
- Background in the food and beverage industry, particularly in sanitary applications.
- Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
