Job Description

Title: Product Design Engineer

Location: Greater Akron, OH

Job Duties:
  • Review 3D design models (Solidworks preferred) to identify potential improvements. 
  • Work with various metal forming processes (stamping, bending, coating) to achieve desired product characteristics.
  • Propose design modifications, material substitutions, or new product variations. 
  • Conduct stress analysis to ensure product durability and performance. 
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure smooth product development and implementation.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with metal forming processes such as stamping, bending, and coating. 
  • Understanding in 3D design software, preferably Solidworks. 
  • Strong understanding of metal products, particularly aluminum alloys.
