Chemical Engineer
Job Description
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and process optimization initiatives.
- Work closely with the technical operations team to supervise and optimize manufacturing processes within the Manufacturing Pilot Plant.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of manufacturing processes, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Assist in the drafting of specification documents and the creation of comprehensive technical reports to support process improvements and regulatory compliance.
- Actively participate in the execution of process-related tasks, providing valuable insights and contributing to the overall success of manufacturing operations.
- Maintain a proactive approach to learning and development, seeking opportunities to expand knowledge and skill sets in process engineering and manufacturing operations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency, quality, and safety within manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred). Will consider a closely related discipline.
- Prior experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to work hands-on in a production environment.
- Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
