Process Engineering Technician - Nights
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and monitor SMT machinery and other production equipment
- Troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing equipment
- Ensure product quality and adherence to manufacturing specifications
- Perform technical tests and experiments for process engineering
- Analyze and present test results to engineering teams
- Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel
- Assist with line change configurations and yield improvement activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, etc.)
- Follow escalation procedures and resolve manufacturing process issues
- Support change control and quality/compliance activities
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent technical training (Electrical, Mechatronic, Automation, Mechanical, or Industrial concentration preferred)
- 3+ years of experience supporting automated production equipment
- Strong electro-mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience with PLCs and industrial network communications
- Familiarity with regulated industry standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, NHTSA)
- 3rd shift 11:00pm-7:15am (12.5% Shift differential)
- Salary: $28-35/hour, depending on experience
