Location: Merced, CA
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: Up to $95k
Job Duties:
- Develop cost-effective processes to adhere to engineering specifications. Use SPC and DOE for data analysis and issue resolution.
- Maintain departmental safety and housekeeping standards.
- Strive for continuous improvement in key performance indicators to achieve lowest manufacturing costs.
- Facilitate the introduction of new technologies.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and technical teams to address daily challenges and drive process improvements.
- Initiate and oversee projects to implement innovative equipment, processes, and methods.
- Contribute to capital planning, project implementation, and product development.
- Communication and Reporting: Provide timely and accurate project updates and reports.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to real-world situations.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with CAD design software, Microsoft Office products, and manufacturing processes (bag making, films, lamination, injection molding).
- Knowledgeable in CAD design software and Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with automatic bag making, films, lamination, and/or injection molding is required
