Title: Precision Machinist (CNC)

Location: Bartlett, IL 

Hire Type: Direct Hire, hourly

Pay Rate: $30hr - $40hr (dependent on experience-level)

Job Duties:
  • Set up and operate CNC machinery to precisely machine both metallic and non-metallic components according to detailed specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical drawings to determine required dimensions, tolerances, tooling, and operational sequences.
  • Monitor machine operations closely and perform quality checks to ensure all parts meet exact print specifications and tolerances.
  • Conduct and document in-process inspections to maintain quality and consistency throughout the machining process.
  • Operate various production equipment and tools beyond CNC machines as needed to support manufacturing operations.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment by contributing to team efforts and maintaining a cooperative attitude.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to interpret complex prints and specifications accurately.

Qualifications:
  • Minimally 8+ years of experience
  • Focused on Quality  
  • Ability to read blueprints 
  • Attitude that demonstrates attention to detail, willingness to learn and train others
  • Experienced in close-tolerance machining
  • Firm understanding of GDT
  • You're working with tight tolerances—very little room for error.
