Job Summary:
Plant Manager is responsible for performance of Elmhurst operations, including but not limited to the following:
  • Customer Service Levels
  • Plant profitability
  • Plant appearance and equipment maintenance
  • Plant safety performance
  • Providing employees with performance feedback and all business communications

Job Duties:
  • Ensure SOP information for all customers is maintained in the database.
  • Ensure all orders properly entered and tracked for all customers.
  • Train the appropriate personnel to program, assemble and repair the products and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a programming procedure for each new product.
  • Review tooling performance with Technical Department and Customers.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering presentations to customers.
  • Travel to meet with customers as required
  • Conduct plant tours for customers
  • Monitor daily schedules for all orders
  • Manage employee labor on day-by-day basis
  • Manage inventory of all manufacturing supplies
  • Improve output per hour worked in all departments
  • Product quality: Reduce number of non-conformance items
  • Communicate performance with all employees
  • Meet with customers to provide feedback on all issues and develop plans to improve quality performance
  • Provide daily updates of activity to management in Elk Grove
  • Track and ensure reporting of all labor and materials usage
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory matters
  • Ensure alliance of plant activity with goals developed for organization
  • Manage all plant activities and complete performance reviews with on-going feedback for all employees


Qualifications:
  • Minimally 7+ years experience in a supervisory or management capacity within a manufacturing environment, preferably in die cutting, packaging or printing industries
