Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Manager to lead and manage our manufacturing operations based in Wood Dale, IL. The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including supply chain, manufacturing, quality control, shipping & receiving, and team development. This role is crucial in driving the company's performance and delivering superior products that meet the needs of our global customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong and effective leadership to the plant operations team.
  • Define and implement manufacturing metrics to drive performance and efficiency.
  • Manage and optimize cost of goods sold (COGS) for products.
  • Ensure meticulous budget, inventory, and cost control management.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, including Finance, Engineering, and Customer Support.
  • Champion the production of high-quality, high-performance products.
  • Facilitate staff orientation, training, development, and promotions.
  • Foster a positive plant culture focused on teamwork, communication, innovation, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in Plant/Operations Management within a small to medium manufacturing company (minimum revenue $20MM, with 25+ employees).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Background in manufacturing OEM equipment.
  • Demonstrated ethical leadership and business integrity.
  • Track record of delivering strong financial performance.
  • Proficiency in driving and managing positive organizational change.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and office locations.
  • Strong customer relations skills.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
