Job Summary:
  • The Plant Manager is responsible for site leadership and management of all operational aspects. This role focuses on driving market-leading response and customer service with a keen emphasis on operational execution. The Manager will lead operational planning, customer experience enhancement, repair scope creation, and manufacturing at the site. Safety, quality, and operational excellence will be at the forefront of the role, measured through monthly KPIs.

Job Duties:
  • Drive metrics for Year Over Year improvement in Safety, Quality, Operational Excellence, and Customer Experience.
  • Enforce uncompromising Safety and Quality expectations, fostering a safety-first culture.
  • Prepare and execute an operations plan, including budgetary management, labor absorption, cost management, quality, efficiency improvements, facility maintenance, and capital management.
  • Achieve industry-leading customer service, focusing on improved customer experience with excellent response times and best-in-class quality.
  • Select, train, review, motivate, and manage personnel (approx. 40 FTEs) for efficient performance and growth.
  • Establish succession planning and a direct labor development program.
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, and counseling of personnel.
  • Ensure proper coordination and interface with various functional stakeholders within the region
Qualifications: 
  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent direct experience AND 8-10 years' experience in industrial manufacturing, engineered pumps, or engineered-to-order environments for the industry.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, operations management, and supervision.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process improvement tools (Kaizen, Lean, 6-sigma) and quality management systems (ISO).
  • Experience in service environment activities, including DCI, machining, assembly, test, and field service for seal repairs and rotating equipment.
  • Leadership style encouraging teamwork, communication, and mentorship.
  • High proficiency in order management tools, software, and Microsoft Office tools.
