Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the success of the facility.
- Develop and execute site budgets to optimize financial performance.
- Conduct performance appraisals, provide coaching, and foster the development of the management team.
- Meet safety, quality, and service goals for the plant, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement capital projects and training programs to achieve volume and productivity targets.
- Maintain a balance between production objectives and finished goods inventory goals.
- Promote employee involvement and engagement to create a positive work culture.
- Guide teams in utilizing Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools for continuous improvement projects.
- Drive Operational Excellence initiatives throughout the facility.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or eight years of work experience.
- Five years of experience in a leadership role at a manufacturing or distribution facility, or in an operations environment.
- Formal training and/or experience with continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.
