Plant Controller
Job Description
- Lead all aspects of financial control and management at the plant, including cost accounting, general ledger, inventory control, accounts payable, and capital spending.
- Collaborate with plant management to develop and execute strategic financial plans, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve financial processes, implement new procedures, and enhance cost efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls and external regulations.
- Monitor and manage financial risk, including credit, liquidity, and operational risk.
Qualifications:
- An MBA or a professional certification such as CMA, CPA, or CFA is preferred.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial management is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and cost management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading through change, including the ability to assess organizational needs and implement effective new procedures swiftly in challenging business environments.
