Overview:
As a Planning Manager, you'll spearhead production planning, scheduling, and inventory management to ensure seamless operations. You will be responsible for optimizing resource utilization, maintaining material supply chains, and leveraging ERP systems for process improvements. Your leadership will drive operational excellence through effective team management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive industrial and sales plans, integrating critical site capacities.
  • Conduct medium and long-term planning, optimizing workforce and machinery resources.
  • Oversee short-term scheduling, ensuring seamless coordination between planning and production.
  • Monitor and control finished and semi-finished product inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with the Lean department to analyze and implement effective production management tools and methodologies.
  • Ensure timely and quality supply of raw materials, components, and consumables to prevent production disruptions.
  • Manage material and component inventory levels, guaranteeing supply within required deadlines and quantities.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Lean departments to analyze and implement appropriate procurement tools and methods.
  • Maintain data consistency and integrity within the ERP (SAP) and IT systems, suggesting process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings, coordinate data updates, and lead or contribute to working groups and projects.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop the department team, establishing and analyzing service indicators.
  • Promote and enforce continuous improvement practices, such as 5S, TPM, SMED, and VSM, participating in related workgroups and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and compliance with manufacturing routings and bill of materials.
  • Uphold and enforce the company's environmental and safety policies, ensuring supplier compliance with environmental specifications and waste sorting.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in logistics, engineering, or equivalent professional experience (3-5 years).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in planning/scheduling in a similar regulated industry environment. Must have prior experience managing a team.
  • Proficient in SAP (preferred) and its modules (MM, PP, WM, etc.).
  • Experience in a regulated industry with high quality requirements.
  • Strong service orientation, people skills, and negotiation abilities.
