Job Summary:
The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely execution of engineering, procurement, and construction activities. This role requires close collaboration with project teams, stakeholders, and contractors to optimize workflows, mitigate risks, and ensure project milestones are met efficiently. The Planning Engineer will utilize scheduling software and industry best practices to track progress, identify delays, and provide data-driven solutions for effective project management.

Job Duties:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to integrate work plans and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
  • Prepare periodic progress reports and forecasts for project stakeholders.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis to anticipate potential delays and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to manage project scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
  • Support project managers in decision-making by providing data-driven scheduling insights.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling for electrical distribution systems
  • Proficiency in CYMDIST (CYME)  MS Word, Excel and Synergi
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
