Planning Engineer
Job Description
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to integrate work plans and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
- Prepare periodic progress reports and forecasts for project stakeholders.
- Conduct schedule risk analysis to anticipate potential delays and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to manage project scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
- Support project managers in decision-making by providing data-driven scheduling insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling for electrical distribution systems
- Proficiency in CYMDIST (CYME) MS Word, Excel and Synergi
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
