Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Associate
Job Description
Location: Chicago, IL
- Operate and maintain biotech systems (e.g., weighing, filtration, inoculation, fermentation, chromatography).
- Conduct in-process tests (pH, cell count, spectrophotometry).
- Prepare media/buffer solutions and complete batch records.
- Maintain clean room conditions and report any issues.
- Assist in process tech transfers and follow safety protocols.
- Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology (preferred), or 2–4 years’ experience in biologics.
- Basic English communication and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to operate complex equipment and troubleshoot processes.
- Familiarity with GMP, aseptic filtration, fermentation, chromatography, and TFF operations.
- Proficient in basic computer tasks (e.g., Word, Excel).
- Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule.
