Title:  Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Associate
Location:  Chicago, IL
Hire Type:  Contract-to-Hire
Shift:  Rotating between 1st and 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, every other week
Target Pay Rate:  $27.00/hour (W2, with full employee benefits)

Job Summary: 
The Manufacturing Associate works hands-on to produce pharmaceutical biotech products for clinical and commercial use. Will work in controlled environments, employing aseptic techniques. Will ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and company policies. 

Job Duties:
  • Operate and maintain biotech systems (e.g., weighing, filtration, inoculation, fermentation, chromatography).
  • Conduct in-process tests (pH, cell count, spectrophotometry).
  • Prepare media/buffer solutions and complete batch records.
  • Maintain clean room conditions and report any issues.
  • Assist in process tech transfers and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology (preferred), or 2–4 years’ experience in biologics.
  • Basic English communication and strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to operate complex equipment and troubleshoot processes.
  • Familiarity with GMP, aseptic filtration, fermentation, chromatography, and TFF operations.
  • Proficient in basic computer tasks (e.g., Word, Excel).
  • Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule.
