Job Description

OVERVIEW:
Join our dynamic IT support team as a Desktop Support Technician! This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide crucial technical support while working with the latest hardware and software technologies. You'll be instrumental in maintaining our organization's technology infrastructure and ensuring smooth operations for end-users. This is a part time position with fixed hours only on Friday & Saturday

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Install, repair, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and related systems
  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and printer issues
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and coordinate with Network team
  • Install and update software, patches, and operating systems
  • Manage and track IT assets and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Build and deploy system images for desktops and laptops
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs
  • Manage printer supplies and maintenance
  • Assist users in software selection and implementation
  • Support end-user devices and peripherals

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent experience in IT support
  • 2-8 years of related technical support experience (varies by grade level) preferably within a manufacturing environment 
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC architecture
  • Experience with system imaging and deployment
  • Microsoft certifications preferred (MCSE a plus)

Pay: $20-25/hr (Depending on experience) 
Hours: Friday and Saturday 7am-5:30pm w/30-minute lunch (consistent 20-hours a week)
