Panel Wirer (2-3 Month Contract / Contract to Hire)
Location: Elgin, IL
Salary: $22 - $26 per hour

We are currently seeking a skilled Panel Wirer to join our team in Elgin, IL, on a 2-3 month contract with the potential for contract-to-hire.
Position Summary:
As a Panel Wirer, you will play a crucial role in our production process by reading electrical and control schematics, assembling, and wiring control panels to specification for PLC controls, operator consoles, variable speed drives, motor controls, and pneumatic controls. You will also have the opportunity to inspect completed panels, maintain a clean and efficient work area, and collaborate with our shop manager to schedule and prioritize tasks. Additionally, occasional support for installations at local customer facilities may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Read electrical and control schematics to understand panel specifications.
Assemble and wire control panels according to schematic and engineering drawings.
Ensure high-quality workmanship while maintaining a focus on safety.
Inspect completed panels to verify adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Maintain equipment and tools in a neat, clean, and efficient work area.
Collaborate with the shop manager to schedule and prioritize tasks.
Provide occasional support for installations at local customer facilities.
