Packaging Engineer
Job Description
- Develop and update packaging documentation (BOMs, specs, assembly instructions).
- Create and execute testing protocols for packaging performance and shipping.
- Assess materials and implement improved testing methods.
- Research new tech to enhance packaging efficiency and quality.
- Coordinate plant trials and summarize outcomes for packaging decisions.
- Support artwork approval and align labeling with regulations.
- Bachelor’s in Packaging Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of packaging design experience; cosmetics/consumer goods a plus.
- Knowledge of packaging tests, materials, and manufacturing methods.
- Proficiency with 2D drawings, problem-solving, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Experience in cosmetics packaging design is highly preferred.
