Outside Sales Representative
Job Description
- Achieve sales targets by growing existing accounts and developing new customer relationships
- Provide strategic recommendations, pricing, and tailored solutions to meet individual client needs
- Prepare and present compelling product and service quotations
- Negotiate terms and close deals with confidence and professionalism
- Conduct in-person sales visits and deliver presentations that communicate value and ROI
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers across multiple industries
- Coordinate system delivery, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with OEMs, engineers, and technical teams to define customer requirements and specifications
- Research local markets to identify growth opportunities and monitor competitive activity
- Build rapport and gain a deep understanding of customer business drivers
- Document account activity, contracts, and sales efforts daily using the CRM system
- Provide regular updates and reporting to management as needed
- Experience selling to manufacturing, engineering, or OEM clients is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies to gain market share
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and passionate about helping customers succeed
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the territory (Ohio)
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales reporting
