Senior Director of Infrastructure Services (Facilities)

Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $270K - $300K

- Lead the infrastructure services team, including site planning, project design, construction, and ongoing facility operations, maintenance, and improvements.
- Oversee the efficient operation and long-term sustainability of physical plant infrastructure, including buildings, utilities, and supporting systems.
- Manage and drive the execution of design and construction projects for facilities, utilities, and site infrastructure.
- Foster strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure infrastructure strategies align with organizational goals.
- Establish and enforce policies to promote safety, security, and quality across all infrastructure functions.
- Collaborate with external partners, regulatory bodies, and industry leaders to implement best practices in infrastructure management.
- Set and monitor performance goals, including budget targets for maintenance, improvements, project timelines, staffing, and long-term site development.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
- Develop and implement a quality assurance program that includes regular assessments, audits, and process improvements.
- Serve as a senior leadership team member, providing insights and strategic recommendations regarding infrastructure issues.
- Lead and manage a high-performing team, handling hiring, performance reviews, training, and professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, architecture, planning, or related field with 15+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 10+ years in facilities operations and planning at a large-scale site or multiple locations.
- Extensive experience managing infrastructure for large-scale industrial, research, or government environments, with a proven track record of improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Expertise in facilities management, engineering, construction, and maintenance, with a solid understanding of site planning and architecture.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams and working with various stakeholders, including unionized teams.
- Proven success in overseeing complex infrastructure projects, with a focus on operational improvements.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to safety, environmental compliance, and infrastructure management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners.
- Experience in project and program management, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Ability to foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability in all infrastructure operations.
