Job Summary:
Seeking a proactive, hands-on Facilities Manager to lead site operations supporting the development and production of medical devices. This role manages building systems, safety compliance, space planning, and vendor coordination in a GMP-regulated environment.
Job Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, custodial, landscaping, and security systems
- Ensure compliance with EH&S standards (OSHA, EPA, building codes)
- Manage vendors, contracts, and service quality
- Lead infrastructure upgrades, space planning, and facility improvements
- Serve as primary contact for audits and inspections
- Maintain preventive maintenance and respond to urgent issues
- Track and manage operational and capital budgets
- Collaborate with EHS, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure a safe, compliant workplace
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years’ relevant experience, or Master’s + 3 years
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Leadership skills with cross-functional collaboration experience
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards
- Preferred: Experience in medical device/pharma, GMP/FDA/ISO environments, cleanrooms
- Preferred certifications: CFM, LEED
- Proficiency in CMMS, AutoCAD, and/or BMS
- Background in sustainability and energy efficiency is a plus
