Shift: 1st I 7:30-3:30
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $21-$23/hr.

Sterling Engineering is seeking an Operations Team Lead for a commercial ovens manufacturer in Elgin, IL. This is a great opportunity to work with a company with great benefits and one that loves to promote from within!

Job Duties:
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, and daily warehouse operations.
  • Ensure accuracy of incoming, outgoing, and in-stock items.
  • Assist in the picking/packing of orders
  • Train and mentor team members.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics.
  • Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Utilize SAP, UPS WorldShip, and Microsoft Office.
  • Participate in all warehouse audits
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in freight processing software (e.g., UPS).
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems (SAP, Microsoft Office).
