Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager
Job Description
- The Manager will oversee technical activities related to electrical and steam generation, flue gas treatment, and facility maintenance, with occasional on-call availability for emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety laws, regulations, and permits.
- Coordinate shift personnel to maintain safe and efficient plant operations.
- Develop and lead a high-performance team focused on innovation and operational excellence.
- Optimize facility performance metrics, efficiency, and reliability through predictive maintenance.
- Enhance Life Safety Skills and environmental compliance practices within the facility culture.
- Manage maintenance contracts, cost controls, and long-term maintenance planning.
- Administer site procedures, maintenance programs, and timely reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with Dispatch Center and contractors to ensure operational specifications are met.
- 8+ years of experience in power station operations and maintenance.
- Proficiency in preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Valid driver's license and US citizenship required; US Navy power plant operations training a plus.
