Job Description

Position:  Data Analyst
Duration:  12- 24 months
Location:  Waukegan, IL  60085

I am looking for a Data Analyst with 5+ years of experience that can support the Continuous Improvement Operations initiatives with the Lean Six Sigma Operations Team - CI Team.  In this role you will identify and collect data from ERPs, MRPs, or Manufacturing Execution Systems, ETL and prepare data using MS and data manipulation.  

Overview of Responsibilities 
  • Collaborate with operational teams to gather data 
  • Utilize the Power Suite, PowerBI and deploy the Power Apps 
  • Use HTML and SharePoint for communication to stakeholders and cross functional teams 
  • Analyze data to identify areas of improvement for processes, workflows and systems 
  • Lean Six Sigma methodologies 
  • Track and measure data and the impact of improvements 
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (preferred) 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role 
  • Proven experience with data manipulation and visualization tools (MS Suite, Power BI, Power Apps) 
  • Strong understanding of data quality principles and data governance practices 
  • Working knowledge of HTML and SharePoint for data communication and visualization  
  • Understanding of Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies (5S, Kanban, etc.) is a plus
