Operation Technician
Job Description
Location: Peachtree City, GA
Hire Type: Direct Hire

- Operate, maintain, and perform changeovers on production machines and equipment
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, OSHA safety requirements, and company guidelines
- Provide mechanical and electrical support for routine and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including PLCs, variable speed drives, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Assist in root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability
- Interpret and troubleshoot using electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
- Oversee production changeovers, ensuring proper line clearance and documentation
- Participate in the implementation of new technologies and process improvements
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety protocols
- Report food/product safety risks and take corrective actions as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work safely and follow company policies and regulatory guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and leadership qualities
- Clear and decisive communication skills for team coordination
- Technical or mechanical skills required
- Basic electrical and mechanical alignment knowledge
- Understanding of pneumatic/vacuum technology
- Experience with automation is a plus
