NPI Project Manager
Job Description
- Provides leadership and direction to multi-function teams to develop a given product and controls all functions involved in the product development process
- Ensures the NPI program meets all goal requirements for product function and reliability, program cost/budget, and customer satisfaction
- Leads NPI teams in new model development and introduction plans including establishing performance, quality, cost, and investment targets
- Support the NPI team to establish and achieve target costs, reliability targets, and time tables
- Execute the NPI Requirements Management Process and identify critical customer and business requirements
- Guide concept selection and the identification and achievement of program requirements and technical specifications, shorten resolution times, achieve supply and manufacturability objectives, assure process conformance, and determine, justify, and monitor capital investments
Qualifications:
- BS in Business or Engineering
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible job-related experience on capital intensive, highly engineered, long life cycle product line
- Minimum of three years of Project Management experience
- Strong commercial, business, engineering, and manufacturing skills, along with an understanding of product test and development, materials, accounting, and pricing functions
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills, good leadership, and team management capabilities
- Requires strong written and verbal communications skills
