Sterling Engineering is a engineering and staffing services firm that specializes in placing top talent in the U.S and Ireland. We have been working with a longtime client of ours on a Mechanical Designer role they recently opened up. This will be a long term contract with potential for long term hire. This is a great opportunity for people who want to work in a stable culture with plentiful growth opportunities. 

General:

  • Establish and document new designs, processes and products 
  • Operate with moderate supervision. Work assignments may be presented through drawing markups, conceptual drawings or models and free hand sketches.  
  • Assist Project Engineers and Engineering Managers with projects to enhance existing and develop new product lines.
  • Manage multiple assignments and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Generate drawing packets, which document components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies, that are used by internal and external customers.
  •  Prepare models and drawings 

What is Needed? 

  • Bachelors in Engineering
  • At least 3 years of mechanical design experience
  • Creo experience a must
