Molding Technician
Job Description
- Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety
- Interact with engineering, production, and tooling staff when troubleshooting molds
- Identify solutions to complex molding and mold problems as they pertain to injection molding manufacturing.
- Create work orders for the service of all molds and maintain records as required.
- Coordinate the implementation of solutions for needed repairs.
- Verify molds are production ready; advise production and engineering of condition of molds.
- Train others in the operation of equipment in the Tool Repair department.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in mold making, mold design, and/or mold processes strongly preferred
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Microsoft Office and Engineering software computer skills.
