About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Bear Creek, WI. In this role, you will be essential to maintaining the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our manufacturing operations. You’ll perform routine inspections, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and ensure our facility runs smoothly with minimal downtime. This is a hands-on role that combines mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Conduct carpentry and drywall repairs to maintain a safe and clean facility
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure proper calibration and equipment functionality
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize production disruptions
- Collaborate with team members to identify continuous improvement opportunities
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in maintenance or a similar field
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification in maintenance, industrial technology, or related discipline
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting
Skills & Requirements
- Mechanical repair, electrical wiring, and plumbing knowledge
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Carpentry and drywall repair experience
- Ability to climb ladders and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
