Job Title: Maintenance Technician
 Location: Hudson, NY 12534
 Job Type: Full-time | Hourly
 Compensation: $25–$27/hour
 Shift: (start time between 6:00–7:00 a.m.) with overtime opportunities

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and support production operations by maintaining equipment and facility systems. This role is crucial for minimizing downtime and ensuring machinery operates efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate has a mechanical background and experience with controls, programming, and wiring in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and prepare production equipment each day
  • Perform routine technical inspections and operational checks on conveyors, elevators, pressure systems, and other plant equipment
  • Monitor electrical, hydraulic, and control systems to ensure safety and functionality
  • Identify performance issues and perform corrective maintenance
  • Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and maintain accurate logs
  • Assist machine operators during changeovers and adjustments
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions promptly
  • Follow and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • Report to the Maintenance Superintendent for daily updates and guidance
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1–3 years in maintenance, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with low-voltage systems and process automation controls
  • Experience with electrical controls, programming, and wiring
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective team communication and collaboration
