Job Summary: 
This person will work as part of a highly collaborative multi-disciplinary team to bring new or enhanced products to market, along with providing a developmental opportunity to learn more about the systems and processes. In addition, the successful candidate will find that the opportunities to grow within Engineering are numerous.

Job Duties:
· Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to bring architectural luminaires to market and improve existing products
· Ownership of project deliverables, including design drawings, design review action items, supporting documentation, bill of materials, packaging, instruction sheets, etc.
· Assist project teams with design, bill of material generation, CAD drawing modifications
· Support production through training, communicating custom requirements and troubleshooting
· Assemble prototype designs and install in mockups
· Simultaneously support multiple projects
· Collaborate with regulatory and field support teams as needed
· Establish and maintain a cooperative relationship with all support functions
· Continuously look for opportunities to improve engineering processes


Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or Associate degree in a technical program.
· Working knowledge of 3D CAD software. SolidWorks preferred.
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Experience with hands-on prototyping
