- Design and develop custom automation assembly systems and mechanical components
- Lead project lifecycle from concept through implementation
- Create and review mechanical designs and drawings using SolidWorks
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define automation goals and capabilities
- Manage customer communications and design approvals
- Implement upgrades to existing automation systems
- Measure and model mechanical components
- Document technical specifications and design standards
- Support manufacturing operations as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of experience in custom automation assembly
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (2023/2024) and Microsoft Office
- Strong mechanical aptitude and automation engineering background
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Management or leadership experience preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required
