Job Duties:

  • Utilize CAD Software – Design tools, molds, and fixtures using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA to support manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and Optimize Tooling – Create and refine tooling for injection molding, CNC machining, and casting in a plastics manufacturing environment.
  • Interpret Blueprints and Technical Drawings – Read and analyze engineering blueprints to ensure accurate tooling and manufacturing specifications.
  • Troubleshoot Tooling Issues – Identify and resolve issues in tooling designs to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production Teams – Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement design improvements and enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure Design Accuracy and Compliance – Verify that all designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements.
  • Optimize Manufacturing Processes – Analyze tooling performance and suggest modifications to improve productivity and reduce waste.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • Experience in Injection Mold/Plastics a MUST
  • Solidworks experience a must
  • 2 years of relevant experience needed
