Salary: $119,300 – $164,100 per year

A global leader in advanced manufacturing is seeking a Principal Process Engineer – Injection Molding to join their high-performing team in Libertyville, IL. This engineer will lead process development, support daily production, and drive improvements across thermoplastic injection molding operations.

What You’ll Do:
  • Develop and validate molding processes (IQ, OQ, PQ) for production
  • Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to cost, quality, and efficiency
  • Define process parameters and implement process controls
  • Oversee the installation and validation of new equipment
  • Train production teams and support technology transfers
What We’re Looking For:
  • 10–15 years of experience in injection molding, tooling, and process development
  • Experience with scientific molding (RJG / E-Dart preferred)
  • Familiarity with cleanroom environments (Class 7 or 8)
  • Skilled in data/statistical analysis using Excel, Minitab, or similar tools
  • Degree or equivalent experience in plastics or injection molding engineering
