Salary Range: $135k - $170k + bonus

Job Summary:
  • The Mechanical Engineering Division Lead will handle oversight of the development, design, production of innovative medical devices and lead a team of engineers to collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring timely and quality execution of projects while adhering to regulations.

Job Duties:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team in the end-to-end development of cutting-edge drug delivery devices—from initial concept through to full-scale production.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Design, Human Factors, Regulatory, R&D, and Lab) to ensure technical alignment and regulatory compliance across all project stages.
  • Drive innovation by researching and applying emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance product performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing to translate complex technical capabilities into clear value propositions and support contract development.
  • Own project execution by managing timelines, budgets, and resources—ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of engineering milestones.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, promoting engineering best practices and rigorous design controls throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Serve as a go-to technical expert, offering deep technical insight and problem-solving support for complex design and development challenges.
  • Build strategic relationships with suppliers, external partners, and key stakeholders to drive collaboration and support business growth.



Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, etc.) and a proven track record of successful product launches.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, Solid Works and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Minimally 5+ years experience in an engineering leadership capacity
