Mechanical Engineer - Linear Motion
Job Description
- Apply basic mechanical engineering concepts and processes to the design of new and existing devices - both mechanical and electromechanical products.
- Develop and maintain all product lines.
- Work cross-functionally with different teams and organizations to bring products to market.
- Collaborate with colleagues, take suggestions into consideration, and make suggestions on how to improve operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related design engineering field.
- 5+ years of professional work experience as a mechanical engineer.
- Experience using Solidworks for CAD design.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of precision and linear motion.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with machining processes.
- Knowledge of different material (metals, plastics, etc.)
