Job Description
- Plan and analyze assigned project needs involving the design of individual assemblies, mechanisms, and/or schematics.
- Perform required calculations and analysis to determine the feasibility of design alternatives and prepare project bills of material, schematics and/or software routines as required.
- Work and meet with customers as necessary to establish initial project design objectives and specifications.
- Interface with other department staffs and vendors to resolve mechanical engineering issues and to research and specify the purchase of components, and parts to meet project needs.
- Develop prototypes and test plans and procedures to verify the feasibility of design alternatives.
- Perform test procedures, record, and analyze test results and take necessary corrective actions.
- Design and prepare pneumatic systems and diagrams.
- Ability to prepare and maintain test protocol (FAT, IQ, OQ. Development testing).
- Generate project cost and time quotations.
- Develop required project documentation including manuals and installation instruction.
- Perform project finalization and release procedures and prepare related documentation.
- Perform and supervise product installation procedures and provide user training as required.
- Provide technical support throughout the company and for customers as required.
- Prepare project reports as scheduled.
- Assign and direct work of support personnel.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the mechanical design of components, mechanisms, and/or equipment.
