Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Project Engineers, delving into the intricate mechanical aspects of our projects. Your primary focus will be on designing components for automation, pneumatic systems, and structural elements. Engaging with senior staff, you will actively contribute to project milestones, ensuring seamless project execution with an emphasis on intricate technical details.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize SolidWorks for the meticulous design of mechanical parts and assemblies.
Generate precise 2D quality control drawings to guide manufacturing processes.
Conduct thorough component specification and selection.
Manage the integration of assemblies and references into our document control system (SmarTeam).
Establish and maintain regular communication with vendors and contractors for optimal part sourcing.
Execute the assembly of prototypes based on detailed design specifications.
Systematically gather and document project results for comprehensive reporting.
Apply innovative solutions to resolve complex problems, incorporating new techniques, technologies, or concepts.
Undertake additional duties as assigned, showcasing versatility and adaptability.
Proficient in reading and interpreting assembly drawings, standard operating procedures, and Bills of Materials.
Fluent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Expertise in Draftsight, AutoCad, and SolidWorks.
Familiarity with SmarTeam and QAD is advantageous.
Solid understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
Ability to follow and comprehend verbal and written work instructions and blueprints.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, demonstrating flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills in English.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
2 – 3 years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
Prior experience in engineering within the automation field.
