Mechanical Drafter
Job Description
Location: Hartland, WI 53029
Pay Range: $35–$40/hr
Job Type: Short-Term Contract (Approx. 4 Months)

- Support new product development projects.
- Analyze, develop, and test designs to meet specific customer requirements.
- Execute customer orders and configure equipment based on project specifications.
- Design and 3D model machine components and process systems using SolidWorks.
- Prepare and review detailed drawings; collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Sales teams.
- Select components, assemblies, and materials based on technical data and vendor offerings.
- Generate and release complete Bills of Material (BoMs) for manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge and experience in SolidWorks required.
- Experience with AutoCAD or other 2D drawing software preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Proficient with spreadsheet and word-processing software.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent industrial or hands-on engineering experience also considered.
