Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 (depending on experience)
Job Description:
Are you a skilled Engineering CAD Drafter looking for a new opportunity? Join our team in Grafton, WI, and play a crucial role in supporting the applications engineering and sales group. This position involves generating equipment layouts in both 2D and 3D formats, as well as collaborating with various departments to ensure project success.
Essential Functions:
Generate equipment layouts in both 2D and 3D formats.
Complete custom machine component design work.
Assist the Applications department with component identification and production estimates.
Assist the Parts department with component identification and production estimates.
Assist with company exhibition preparations.
Occasional travel (estimated at less than 10%) to customer sites for project evaluation.
Assist with equipment setup and product testing.
Associate degree in mechanical engineering or two to five years of drafting & design experience in packaging machinery or related business (acceptable).
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (preferred).
Two to five years of AutoCAD 2D training and experience.
Two to five years of parametric 3D modeling training and experience.
Ability to interact well with others and strong communication skills required.
Good organizational skills with the ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines.
General computer skills required.
