Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Description
- Product Design: Develop and optimize new product designs that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Mechanical Design: Create and analyze mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Software Utilization: Proficiently use SolidWorks and AutoCAD for creating detailed drawings and 3D models of products.
- Collaboration with Manufacturing Team: Work alongside manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are feasible for production and can be manufactured efficiently.
- Design Modification: Modify existing customer designs based on feedback and technical assessments to enhance functionality and manufacturability.
- Prototyping: Assist in the prototyping process, including testing and evaluation of materials and designs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of design processes, specifications, and revisions.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and streamline production processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in product and mechanical design
- Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
