Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to work from our La Grange facility. This is a mid to senior-level position, and we are specifically looking for individuals with 10-12 years of experience in Design Engineering for industrial manufacturing companies.
Responsibilities:
Utilize 2D and 3D design software, specifically AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to create detailed mechanical designs for our heavy industrial machinery.
Collaborate closely with the Outside Sales Team to follow up on quotes and convert them into sales orders.
Provide accurate customer information to our Order Specialists to ensure the efficient processing of sales orders.
Coordinate with Sales Expediters to promptly process emergency orders and follow up on past-due orders, ensuring quick shipment.
Assist in processing formal complaints, customer returns, and customer adjustments in a timely manner, working closely with Order Specialists.
Participate in the development, training, and implementation of sales campaigns aimed at acquiring new customers.
Contribute to various projects and activities as requested by the management team.
Demonstrate a willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold our commitment to excellence.

10-12 years of experience in a Design Engineering role within an Industrial or Manufacturing company.

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred.
