Job Description
Position Summary
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete machines according to engineering drawings and work instructions. This role supports production by ensuring assemblies meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Build complete machines or systems from individual parts and assemblies
- Install bearings, shafts, fasteners, pneumatics, and mechanical hardware
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot and correct mechanical issues during assembly
- Verify assemblies meet quality and functional requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
- 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience (machine or equipment assembly preferred)
- Proven experience building sub-assemblies and integrating them into final assemblies
