Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
- Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems following engineering specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform assembly tasks.
- Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure proper function, alignment, and safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical documents such as assembly drawings, manuals, and work instructions.
- Ensure all parts and assemblies are in proper working condition before moving to the next stage of production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards.
- Follow company safety guidelines and wear necessary protective equipment at all times.
- Document assembly processes and maintain records for quality assurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred.
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field is desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
