Title: Engine Line Mechanic

Location: Mayfield, KY

Hire Type: CONTRACT-TO-HIRE

Job Summary: Work on the Engine Line in one of the following areas: teardown, components, wash, mag / dimension, cam/crank, hole repair, initial or final assembly.

Job Duties:

  • Use electric and air operated hand tools
  • Operate overhead cranes and rolling equipment (i.e., tugger and fork truck)
  • Work with little or no supervision
  • Identify different engine models
  • Troubleshoot and recognize problems
  • Read precision instruments and gauges

Qualifications:

  • High School Education or GED
  • Certified/Licensed Mechanic or Diesel, Automobile, Aircraft Heavy Equipment, Farm Equipment
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Mechanic, preferably diesel
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read precision instruments, micrometers, and gauges
