Title: Material Scientist

Location: Lemont, IL

Duration and hire type: Contract (1 Year+)

Job Duties

• Design, set up, and conduct separation experiments
• Prepare and characterize liquid samples or separation materials
• Set up and operate laboratory equipment
• Troubleshoot and refine experimental protocols
• Document experimental procedures, data, and results
• Perform scientific literature review
• Assist with the preparation of proposals, presentations, and publications
• Maintain laboratory equipment and other instruments

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field
• 1-3 years of relevant research experience
• Experience in designing, operating, and scaling chemical separations processes
• Knowledge and experience with chromatography, microscopy, or spectroscopy techniques
