Job Responsibilities:
- Design and select workholding solutions for complex parts
- Develop and optimize CAM programming for 4/5 axis machining
- Perform machining process simulations
- Collaborate with Quality Control on inspection processes
- Support shop floor personnel during part launches
- Engineer end-to-end machining processes
- Utilize Mastercam for simultaneous 5-axis milling
- Implement modern cutting tool and toolholding systems
- Interpret complex blueprints using GD&T
- Apply strong mathematical skills to solve engineering challenges
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Extensive experience in complex workholding design
- Proven proficiency in Mastercam for 5-axis milling
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading
- Experience with hard metal machining
- Vericut experience preferred
- CAD software experience (e.g., SolidWorks) beneficial
Pay: $100,000 - $110,000
