Job Description

Title: Manufacturing Engineer 
Salary: $95k - $120k
Location: Woodridge, IL 

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in structured manufacturing environments to oversee our U.S. assembly operations. In this key role, you will lead the day-to-day production activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and quality procedures, while working collaboratively with our European engineering team based in Croatia. You will play a pivotal role in implementing manufacturing best practices, supporting product integrity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and monitor production processes in the US in coordination with the engineering teams 
  • Review and implement engineering documentation and define workflows for efficient assembly.
  • Identify and report production issues to the remote engineering team for resolution.
  • Lead, support, and develop the US-based assembly team, ensuring strong performance and quality.
  • Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training new assembly team members.
  • Actively assemble mechanical and electrical components following engineering specifications.
  • Perform functional tests and diagnostics of electro-mechanical systems and resolve issues as needed.
  • Provide feedback to improve technical documentation and overall production efficiency.
  • Work closely with engineering, QA, and other technical teams.
  • Take on additional technical responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred but not required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in an assembly/build environment (not production)
  • Proficient in mechanical and electrical assembly techniques
  • Experienced in testing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems
