Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
- Hourly Pay Range: $45-$55/hr
- Hire Type: Contract
- Applying engineering principles to design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes.
- Creating and modifying 2D and 3D CAD models and detailed drafts.
- Collaborating with production teams to troubleshoot and improve machining operations.
- Utilizing knowledge of various machining equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, EDM, and CNC machinery.
- Implementing and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for quality control.
- Operating and interpreting data from various inspection equipment to ensure product specifications are met.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD modeling and drafting.
- Hands-on experience with machining operations, including running equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, EDM, and CNC machinery.
- Previous experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role is required.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with inspection equipment and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
