Job Description
Location: Hanover Park, IL
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary:$100k-$115k/yr.
- Lead full-cycle 4/5-axis machining processes from workholding design through CAM programming and part launch.
- Use Mastercam for simultaneous 5-axis programming and simulation.
- Collaborate with the QC department to develop inspection processes.
- Design complex workholding and fixturing for high-precision parts.
- Support shop floor teams during new product introductions.
- Apply strong knowledge of cutting tools, toolholding systems, and GD&T.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and advanced manufacturing development.
- Mastery in Mastercam for 5-axis milling required.
- Proven experience designing complex workholding solutions.
- Deep understanding of cutting tools, toolholders, and machining strategies.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.
- Experience with hard metals and tight-tolerance machining.
- Vericut and SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software) experience preferred.
- Mill/Turn experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of success in similar machining/manufacturing roles.
